Terms of Service

Last updated: August 7, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Cache for use of the Cache website, apps, APIs, and related services (the "Service"). By using Cache, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Cache helps collectors find and manage collectibles. Today that includes catalog browse and search, item details and market price information, and collection tools in our apps (including scanning where available). We may add features over time without changing the core rules below unless we update these Terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for activity under it. Keep your login credentials secure. Provide accurate information. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your location (and at least 13). We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that violate these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law or infringe others' rights
  • Probe, disrupt, or overload the Service, or bypass security or access controls
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
  • Upload malware, harmful, or illegal content
  • Harass others or abuse community features when those exist
  • Use the Service in any way that harms Cache, our users, or our providers

Catalog data, scraping, and competitive use

Cache owns the Service and our compilation of it—things like how we select, organize, index, and present catalog information, our taxonomy, APIs, and datasets we publish through Cache. Catalog contents can include facts and materials that come from third parties (publishers, marketplaces, and other sources). Cache is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or supported by the publishers or rights holders whose products appear in the catalog and we do not claim to own those parties' trademarks, card text, or artwork.See our Disclaimers for affiliation, trademark, and related notices. Regardless, you may use information you get from Cache only through the Service for your personal or internal collection management, and only as allowed in these Terms.

You may not, without our prior written permission:

  • Scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, or otherwise automate extraction of catalog data
  • Bulk download, mirror, or systematically copy catalog content or datasets
  • Use catalog data to build, train, enrich, or operate a competing catalog, price guide, app, website, API, or dataset
  • Resell, republish, or redistribute catalog data outside ordinary personal sharing features we provide
  • Use bots, scripts, or unofficial clients to pull catalog data at scale

Manual browsing and normal interactive use of the website or apps is fine. Automated or bulk extraction is not.

Fair use: automated and bulk API access

High-volume, automated, or industrial use that far exceeds normal patterns for your plan is not fair use. As a guide, we set fair-use thresholds so the large majority of customers are unaffected. Going past that line is a signal that you need a higher plan, a commercial arrangement, or that the account is being misused.

If your usage is abusive or outside fair use, we may, with or without prior notice:

  • Warn you and ask you to reduce usage or upgrade
  • Throttle, queue, rate-limit, or temporarily degrade automated access
  • Apply hard caps, block bulk endpoints, or revoke API / dataset access
  • Charge for overages or require a different commercial plan when offered
  • Suspend or permanently ban the account and related accounts

Soft limits (notice and throttle) are preferred for legitimate power users so we can have an upgrade conversation. Hard blocks and bans apply to scraping, competitive extraction, evasion of limits, or other harmful abuse. Plan quotas and technical ceilings described in-product or on pricing pages are part of these Terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit (for example collection notes or photos you upload), unless you allow Cache to anonymize and/or disassociate the content from your account. You grant Cache a license to host, process, display, and—if you opt in to contribution or training programs—use that content as described at the time you submit it. You are responsible for having the rights to content you provide.

Prices and third-party information

Market prices and catalog details are informational estimates and may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Cache is not a broker, appraisal firm, or guarantee of value. Deck and tournament legality information is for reference only. Affiliate or purchase links, when shown, go to third parties with their own terms; we may earn a commission from some purchases. More detail is in our Disclaimers.

Subscriptions and paid features

Some features may require a paid plan or one-time purchase. Prices, included usage, and renewal terms will be shown at checkout or in-app. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew until canceled. Downgrades and cancellations take effect as described at the time of purchase (often at the end of the current billing period). Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or by the app store's rules.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations. Enforcement can include warnings, feature limits, throttling, suspension, permanent account bans, deletion of abusive content, and legal action. We may also reclaim or invalidate improperly obtained credits, datasets, or entitlements. Ban decisions may cover related accounts used to evade enforcement.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Cache disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid Cache in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50, except where law does not allow that limit.

Termination

You may stop using Cache at any time and may request account deletion as described on our Delete Account page. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that should survive (including catalog restrictions, fair use, IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) remain in effect after termination.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will change the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
